In 1924 Don’s grandfather stated an automobile business that is still owned and operated by Don’s older brother. A proven business leader himself, Don’s business, Huffines Communities, is one of the largest real-estate developers in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. A graduate of the University of Texas and father of five children, Don is strong leader, a family man, and a consistent advocate for freedom.
Don is a fierce opponent of Obamacare, governmental overreach, and centralized solutions. He wants to provide Texas families more educational freedom, ensure that our Second Amendment rights are protected, and that term limits are put in place to prevent crony capitalism and career politicians.
In addition to being endorsed by Liberty For All Action Fund, Don has been endorsed by Senator Rand Paul, former Presidential candidate Rick Santorum, former House Majority Leader Dick Armey, Texans for Fiscal Responsibility, the Texas Home School Coalition, the Republican Liberty Caucus, and the Young Conservatives of Texas.
